Our Story

We met for the first time in August of 2000. Little Brendan and Katie started Kindergarten at St. James Elementary School in Davis, California. It was fate as Katie was entering her second year of Kindergarten (God works in mysterious ways) and the elementary school near Brendan’s home was not ready to admit students.

Rescue hero’s, eighth grade buddies, and playtime started us off on a strong and memorable foot. We spent 9 years at St. James together. In 7th and 8th grade, sweet and shy Brendan developed a crush on Katie. Katie was CLUELESS!

After a flirt attempt from Brendan via Facebook, Katie went off to LMU and Brendan headed North to the University of Oregon. One day, Katie received a notification about a memory on Facebook.Upon further reflection, it appeared Brendan was flirting with Katie. Katie decided to take a leap and reach out to Brendan. Due to Covid, both Katie and Brendan returned to our childhood homes and the rest is history yet to be made. Thanks Facebook… or should I say Meta?
